I have to be the HAPPIEST girl on this planet right now! I am so EXCITED to race an IM. I know this may sound crazy and I may not have the best day out there, but I am going to DO MY BEST to have the BEST ATTITUDE out there. Coach just gave me the go ahead to race IM Louisville. So, yes I will get “lucky in Kentucky.” That’s for Bree
I get to meet some of my blogging buddies and I get to meet one of my newest sponsors too! This will be an amazing time!! I am like a little kid all excited for X-mas! HA! I know an IM will be tough, but I am so willing and so ready to take on this challenge! I will face this race with an awesome attitude, hopefully I will be smiling and waving out there like Wee
HUGE thanks to Reid once again for supporting me in this amazing journey. He really is the greatest hubbie I can ever dream of. It’s so real, just ask some of my teammates
Have an awesome day!
E

Awesome!! Louisville is actually a really cool place, very historic. It’ll be humid, that’s for sure!! So keep up the mid-day training!!
Best of luck to you!

You and Katya in Kentucky… that is for sure going to be a blast! I am so happy you quit your day job. What about Reid, is he doing Canada or Kentucky? Are you going for fun or trying for a Kona slot? All that extra training time is going be unreal- man that is cool! Can I borrow some of your free time?? ha ha
Enjoy every moment of the next 5 wks, make them all count, then on the start line and when the $h!t hits the fan you know you can do it because you did the training… oh, and from Caroline, Sam, and me… we DARE you to do one long ride without Reid… ALL ALONE… to practice being solo…like a race day… you can do it! Tape his photo to your top tube. Really happy for you. Maybe you can get Dawn to make you a Splish with horses racing on it (for Kentucky) or Reid’s face… oh man I am full on in a nerdy mood! Chat laters! bree

YAY!!! not too far from me! I’ll have just headed back to the boondocks for school the week before. I might have to look into making the drive to come watch!!! Tomorrow’s swim is going to be lonely without all you guys (I almost caught myself saying y’all because scott is here and he’s been throwing out all the southern slang…I reckon’). As for the solo ride. Totally go for it!!! You’re gonna do awesome out there!!!

Glad you now have a race to focus on for the time being. Also, from Bree’s comment you quit your job. Well, we can’t do everything and I am sure you will find plenty of ways to work and earn money in your spare time. All the best.
